Reykjavik University welcomes visitors from Kaunas University of Technology, Inga Stasiulaitiene and Dainius Martuzevicius. Dainius Martuzevicius, a full Professor at Faculty of Chemical Technology, Kaunas University of Technology, and formerly Vice Dean of Research at the faculty and the Department Head at Dept. of Environmental Technologies, will present an approach to the estimation of environmental performance of flue gas/polluted air treatment technology, including plasma, filtration, sorption, and biological oxidation. The lecture will also discuss the applications of Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) to support claims of overall sustainability of these advanced environmental technologies.
Inga Stasiulaitiene, an Associate Professor in the Department for Environmental Technology at KTU, will also be present. Her research interests include Petro-, Atmospheric and Environmental Chemistry.
