Department of Business and Economics at Reykjavik University offers varied BSc and MSc-level courses in business. At the undergraduate level, students can choose between business administration and economics. Interdisciplinary courses such as a BSc in business administration with a law or computer science minor are on offer. At the graduate level, courses are taught in English and take 14 months to complete.
Close collaboration with businesses, practical projects and internships give students a competitive advantage. The main research areas are leadership studies, marketing and consumer psychology, management, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
Accreditations
The Executive MBA programme has an AMBA (Association of MBAs) accreditation. The BSc programme in Business Administration and Economics has the EFMD (The European Foundation for Management Development) accreditation.

The Department of Business and Economics has been a member of the United Nations Principles of Responsible Management Education (PRME) network since 2012.
