The Reykjavík University Corporate Governance Center is a cooperation between the school of business and the school of law.

The objectives of the Center are to promote and increase knowledge in the field of corporate governance by:  

• Promoting research in the field. 
  
• Increase integration of knowledge in the fields of policy, business, operations, corporate law and related topics.  
  
• Promote education in the field of corporate governance.
• Assist corporations and boards to improve corporate governance practices.
  

The Center aim is to increase the visibility of research in the field of corporate governance and for that purpose the center is in collaboration with the Open University within Reykjavik University regarding development and teachings courses for boards and board members.
