Each year Reykjavik University welcomes students from all over the world. Iceland is a unique study location offering students a world-class education, vibrant culture and dramatic landscapes.

International students can join us as either full-time students or as exchange/Free Mover student.

 

Exchange / 'free mover' students

Reykjavik University has exchange agreements with 160 universities around the world. If Reykjavik University does not have an exchange agreement with your university, you can apply as a Free Mover student and pay tuition fees directly to Reykjavik University.

Full-time international students

If you wish to enroll in a programme at Reykjavik University as a full-time student, you can learn about courses we offer on our studies page. Please note that undergraduate programmes are taught in Icelandic only and our graduate programmes are taught in English.
