Thousands visit the Annual University Day in RU
The annual University Day was celebrated in RU and other universities in the Southwest corner of the country on Saturday, March 4. Students, teachers, and RU staff welcomed thousands of visitors, discussed the course offerings, held open classes, discussed the services available, showed the facilities at the university, and opened the doors to research centers and workshops.
University Day is traditionally one of the biggest events of the year in RU, and seeing the large group that attended the university this time was a pleasure. It should be noted that RU also had representatives from the University of Bifröst. Agricultural University of Iceland and Iceland University of the Arts.
Next on the events program of the universities in the country is to crowd the north over the moors. University Day will be held on Thursday, March 9, from 11-14 at the University of Akureyri. There, interested people have the opportunity to learn about undergraduate studies at all the country's universities on one platform. Staff and students from all departments of Reykjavik University will be in Akureyri and present the diverse study programs available in RU and answer all the main questions about the study, the facilities, and the services there.
