The first group to graduate from the 14-month programmes at RU´s Department of Business
A graduation ceremony for RU´s Department of Business masters graduates was held in RU recently. Dr. Ragnhildur Helgadóttir, Dean of Reykjavik University´s School of Social Sciences, handed the candidates their graduation diplomas and congratulated them on their achievement.
This was the first group of students to graduate from the programmes after changes were made to their organisation. The Masters courses at the Department of Business now take three semester over 14 months to complete instead of two years. An esception is the executive MBA programme which is two years.
Students can choose between a programme structure leading to an MSc degree and a programme structure for a qualification at master level. Both require 90 ECTS credits.
Most of the students that were graduated started in the autumn of 2018. The programme that graduated the most students was Human Resource Management and Organizational Psychology where 10 graduated with qualification at master level and three with an MSc degree.
