RU is one of the 12 best small universities in the world
Reykjavik University has been ranked twelfth among the best small universities published recently in the Times Higher Education (THE) list.
To be eligible for that list, the universities must teach more than four subjects, have fewer than 5,000 students, and appear in THE's World University Rankings 2022, where RU is among the 350 best universities.
RU jumps six places from the previous list of the best small universities, from 18th to twelfth. First on the list is California Institute of Technology (Caltech), which also places joint second in the overall World University Rankings.
