Marking the 25th anniversary of Reykjavík University, all major events from the university's origins through today were compiled. The university traces its roots back to 1964 when the Technical College of Iceland was founded. It later became the Technical University of Iceland in 2002, which merged with Reykjavík University in 2005. The timeline is placed on the ground floor at Reykjavík University.
