Reykjavik University receives record number of applications
A record high of 2,500 students have applied for Autumn 2014 admission to Reykjavik University. Applications jumped by 11.3% over last year. The Schools of Business and Computer Science both saw record increases.
A large number of applications were also received for the four new interdisciplinary programmes that will be offered for the first time in the fall; Business Administration with a minor in law, business law, with a minor, Business Administration with a minor in computer science and computer science with a business minor.
This year the University also saw a sharp increase in applications to study at graduate level, showing that more than ever before, students are realising the importance of graduate education for their careers.
