New regulation on school operations
A new regulation on restriction of school operations, valid from 10 May to 26 May, has been published. It does not lead to much changes at RU, but it is a step in the right direction towards a more normal situation.
The main change regarding university operations is that infection prevention zones may now contain 100 students, instead of 50 before. That allows for an increase in the number of students' reading and work spaces. Employee infection prevention zones may now contain 50 employees, instead of 20 before. Mixing between student groups is still allowed and the 1 m social distancing rule still in force. Events which are not directly part of teaching are now allowed at RU, and should be held in accordance with general restrictions on gatherings.
