What is the MIRAI Program?

The title of the programme, “MIRAI,” means “future” in Japanese and is also an acronym based on the first letters of the following keywords, as indicated:
Mutual understanding, Intellectual Relations and Academic Exchange Initiative.

The MIRAI Program is an annual government-funded study tour to Japan. It invites groups of university and graduate students from Europe to experience the rich culture, advanced technology, and unique traditions of Japan.
