Guidelines on infection control in schools for the autumn of 2021
The Ministry of Education has published guidelines on infection control in schools for the autumn of 2021, see here. According to the guidelines, teaching can proceed as scheduled after the weekend. Where the 1 meter proximity rule cannot be respected, students and staff must wear a face mask. This mask obligation may be waived after students have been seated inside the classroom. The maximum permitted number of staff and students is 200 in any one space and mixing between groups is permitted.
Contact surfaces will continue to be disinfected between groups and, as before, it is important that everyone takes care of their personal infection control, e.g. with regular hand washing.
