Graduation from preliminary studies

Prepares students to undertake studies at university levels

On Friday the 7th of June 40 students graduated from Reykjavik University's preliminary studies. The main objective is to prepare students with the knowledge, skills, and competencies necessary to undertake studies at the university level. This was the 85th graduation from preliminary studies, with now just over 2.500 students graduating from the program altogether.

The preliminary studies at RU date back to its 60-year-old foundation. The main aim has always been to prepare students thoroughly for their future and further education while introducing and implementing new ways of teaching and dissemination.
