Graduation ceremony in Harpa


Reykjavik University will graduate candidates this next Saturday, on June 16th. The ceremony will start earlier than usual due to the first Iceland match in the football World Cup, or at 10 am. Graduating candidates are however required to attend at 8am in Eldborg hall in Harpa. It is expected to be finished at 12pm.

Graduating candidates should have received an e-mail regarding the ceremony that includes relevant practical information. Candidates are advised to contact the office of their academic school if they have not received this e-mail.

If graduates are unable to attend the ceremony, certificates can be picked up from the service desk in RU from Monday the 18th of June.

The ceremony in Harpa

The rehearsal starts at 08:00 in Eldborg, Harpa and candidates should be there around 7:45am. After the rehearsal there will be a photoshoot in the audience hall in Eldborg, the photographer will be located on the stage. This will be directed thoroughly. 1-2 days prior to the ceremony all those attending will receive an e-mail with the seating plan.
