140 new research and innovation summer jobs at RU
Applications are open for 140 new summer jobs at Reykjavik University. Deadline for applications is May 23rd. The work period starts June 1st for most of the vacancies and is for two or two and a half months. The jobs are part of an effort by the Ministry of Social Affairs, the Directorate of Labour and Reykjavik University to secure summer jobs for students. The vacancies are especially for students, 18 years and older.

The nature of the vacancies is very varied. All academic departments of the University are looking for university students to assist on developing teaching material and teaching methods and on research. Many of the advertised positions are linked to computer science, as for example in programming, development of apps and user interface. The Language Technology Lab is looking for students to work on digitalizing Icelandic and the new Sleep Institute is looking for students to prepare for sleep research. Positions related to digital learning, brain damage, concussions, bulk chains and economics etc. are also available, as are positions at RU's support units, for example in marketing, analysis of web traffic and human resources.
