Hvatasjóður educational fund is now open for applications. The fund is a cooperation between Reykjavik University and Landsbankinn in Iceland. The aim is to secure equality for high school graduate students who hold another first language than Icelandic to study at undergraduate level at Reykjavik University.

The fund is established on the global goals of the United Nations, especially the fourth objective; Education for all, stating that equal access to good education must be guaranteed for all and opportunities for everyone to study must be supported.

Modern teaching methods, project-based learning, a strong connection with the business world, and participation in research are one of the characteristics of RU. There is an emphasis on good facilities for students, excellent communication between teachers and students, and good service.

We encourage those applicable to familiarize themselves with the wide range of courses available at RU and apply for the grant, which includes the cancellation of school fees and a grant to buy a computer.
