Conference Venue
The STAMP conference will be held at Reykjavík University (RU).
Reykjavík University is located next to Öskjuhlíð hill, one of Reykjavík's green areas shaped by the Ice Age. Wooded walks are the ideal way to take in the scenery around the university building. There is just a 2-minute stroll to the popular warm-water bathing beach at Nautholsvik.
Flights
Iceland is only a 3 hours flight from cities in Europe such as London, Copenhagen, Stockholm, Oslo, Amsterdam and Paris. There are now many choices available for travelling by air to Iceland. During 2017 two Icelandic airlines will offer regularly scheduled flights from multiple cities in Europe and America. We highly recommend making reservations as early as possible, since Reykjavík is a very popular tourist destination during the summer months and the less expensive tickets are booked fairly quickly.
Icelandair
The main airline in Iceland, Icelandair, offers many direct flights to Reykjavik from multiple cities both in Europe and in America. For online booking and all further information please see www.icelandair.com.
WOW air
A recent budget airline, WOW air now offers flights from up to 20 different cities in Europe as well as Washington, D.C. For booking and all further information please see www.wowair.com
