RUMBA

When you join the EMBA programme, you become part of a diverse community of high achievers connected by a shared experience. It is a valuable resource that helps you build connections and create business opportunities throughout your career.

RUMBA is the RU EMBA alumni association. RUMBA offers students who have graduated with an Executive MBA from Reykjavik University the opportunity to maintain and expand the invaluable network they established during their time at RU. The alumni association hosts a well-attended conference each year. Prominent industry figures share their experiences and insights on a relevant topic, typically focusing on leadership and key global trends. RUMBA also hosts various other events, including lectures by former MBA professors, company visits and talks, and social gatherings.

The Executive MBA program at Reykjavik University celebrated its first graduates in 2002. Since then, over 600 individuals have earned their Executive MBA Degrees from RU, gaining valuable skills for success in the business world.

Reykjavik University is recognised for its dynamic learning environment, blending theory with practical insights. Graduates of the Executive MBA program have consistently excelled in the competitive business landscape.

The EMBA is, in many ways, much more than a two-year graduate course. The alumni association, aptly named RUMBA, provides students who have graduated with an Executive MBA from Reykjavik University with an opportunity to maintain and grow the invaluable network they established during their time at RU.

Board of RUMBA

The RUMBA Board consist of 7 members. The Chairman, Secretary, and Treasurer are elected for a one-year term, while other board members are elected for a two-year term. Graduated from the RU Executive MBA
