A workshop held at RU in collaboration with MIT Industrial Liaison Program

An interactive workshop titled “Making Feedback Work for You: From Awkward to Actionable” was held at Reykjavík University this March, organised in collaboration with MIT Industrial Liaison Program.

The workshop was led by Jayne Tan, a leadership training specialist, and Melissa Webster, a lecturer at the MIT Sloan School of Management.

The workshop was led by Jayne Tan, a leadership training specialist, and Melissa Webster, a lecturer at the MIT Sloan School of Management. Participants included executives and representatives from RU, Rarik, JBT Marel, and KLAK.

According to Hrafntinna Viktoría Karlsdóttir, project manager for industry relations at Reykjavík University, the workshop was highly successful and provided a valuable opportunity to bring international expertise to Iceland.

“It was a great opportunity to welcome Jayne and Melissa to Iceland and benefit from their knowledge and experience,” she said.

Reykjavík University is a member of the MIT Industrial Liaison Program (ILP) and has collaborated with MIT over the past decade. Through this partnership, RU is authorised to offer selected Icelandic companies' additional membership in MIT ILP under the label Icelandic Innovation Partners (IIP), a role in which RU serves as the coordinating lead.

The goal of the collaboration is to bring together companies and institutions with long-term strategic interests in cooperation with MIT and with each other. The partnership is led on MIT’s behalf by José Ramos, Programme Director at MIT ILP.
