Our program

The Master of Project Management (MPM) is a two-year highly practical academic program that can taken alongside professional responsibilities. Language of instruction is Icelandic.

The MPM degree provides you with:

• Managerial knowledge that is internationally recognised.
• Management education that suits all who want to manage complex and demanding projects, portfolios and programmes.
• Methodology to manage organisations including NGOs, institutes and business enterprises.
• International certification in project management from the International Project Management Association (IPMA). The exams are offered by the Icelandic Project Management Association (VSF). You will be required to pursue IPMA D certification and you are further encouraged to pursue the IPMA C, IPMA B and IPMA A certifications. The last three take account of both project management knowledge and experience. More information on the IPMA certifications can be found here
