A Springtime for Project Management: The annual graduation conference

This conference has been an annual event since the launch of the MPM programme in 2005. The opening lecture of the conference is delivered by world authorities in management, such as Dr Rodney Turner, the chief editor of the International Journal of Project Management (IJPM), and Miles Shepherd, who has contributed significantly to the development of project management through his work at the International Project Management Association, the Association for Project Management (APM) in the United Kingdom, and the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), where he contributed to the development of the ISO 21500 Guidance on Project Management.

Paper presentations at the conference have often caught the attention of the media and promoted our students as authors. The next conference will take place at Reykjavik University on May 23, 2014. It is open to the public free of charge.

Projects for the Common Good

Students are given the freedom to choose their own projects as long as they fit the agenda and meet the criteria of ‘being for a good cause' and ‘increasing well-being in society'.

Many of these projects would have been deemed impossible to execute if not taken on by our students due to lack of financial resources.

If you have an interesting idea for a project then do not hesitate to send an email with the name of the project, the name of the proposed project owner, and a short description to
