Prerequisites

Undergraduate degree (BA, BSc) or equivalent professional qualifications.

Good command of the English language.

Work experience (minimum 3-5 years).
Application
All applicants must submit an electronic application and attach the required accompanying documents in English:

Curriculum Vitae (CV)

Official Transcripts of diplomas

Personal statement answering the question: Why am I pursuing an MBA degree and what are my short term and long-term goals? (max length 1000 words)

Names and contact information of two references (listed in CV)

Letter of recommendation from one individual who can assess the applicant's abilities to participate successfully in the Executive MBA programme. The letter can be in either Icelandic or English. Letter of recommendation shall be sent through e-mail to mba@ru.is. Please note that all letters of recommendation must come directly from the person that gives the recommendation.
We evaluate all aspects of the application and specifically focus on:

International outlook and intercultural competence.

Personal qualities and contributions, such as teamwork skills and overall collegial behavior and willingness to share and learn from others.
Please note that not all applicants are admitted due to the limited number of spaces on the programme. All applications are confidential.
Tuition fees
Amount
Please see our tuition page for the amounts. Tuition fees are divided equally between four semesters, and each semester is paid in advance.

Confirmation fee
To confirm registration, the confirmation fee must be paid. The confirmation fee is a part of the total tuition fees.

Student loan fund
The Icelandic Student Loan Fund (LÍN) grants tuition loans for the MBA programme.
