Library services during the COVID 19 closure

Due to the national ban on gatherings Reykjavik University has no other option but the close the building for students. These are unprecedented circumstances and regrettably the only available option at the moment: to close the library.

While this is the case the library remains closed and students are unable to borrow books in print. Students are expected to buy coursebooks for use in their RU classes but titles are sold at boksala.is and Amazon.

All information about access to the online library (databases and books) can be found at en.ru.is/library

Some databases require remote access login.

Interlibrary loan service is temporarily suspending the borrowing of print materials due to concerns about the Coronavirus.
Patrons can still request articles and book chapters.

Please use library@ru.is to contact Reykjavík University Library. No phone or chat services are open during the COVID 19 closure.
