Reykjavik University, Ossur, SI - the Federation of Icelandic Industries, Landsvirkjun, Klak – Innovation center and Eyrir Invest, are sponsoring a competition „SEED OF THE YEAR“ to support the initial steps of innovation, providing the entrepreneur the opportunity to develop an idea into a business plan and eventually a startup company.
Reykjavik University invites ideas that could be the SEED OF THE YEAR 2011. The winner wil be awarded 1.000.000 ISK, workspace, and free tuition in the BUSINESS ACCELERATOR course at Klak.
All people with legal residence in Iceland can apply for the award. The idea must meet the following requirements:
- It is a new idea;
- It is feasible;
- The idea has not yet been commercialized by a registered company.
The deadline for all applications is 1st of February 2011.
