Information literacy

Goals

• To increase the abilities and independence of LIRU´s users in searching for and using  information and sources, thus enhancing their studies and work at RU
• To provide individuals with skills which make it easier for them to assimilate new knowledge and become lifelong learners
• To introduce the library and information services at RU and its electronic collections in order to maximize their usage and usability for RU's operations

Students should have

• The ambition to always seek out the best information available on each subject
• The integrity to work with information in a responsible and professional manner
• The skills to work independently
