RU has developed one of Iceland's largest and most advanced electronic libraries with excellent access to databases and e-journals in all of RU´s fields of study. The library is on the Web at www.ru.is/library, and at the University's premises at Menntavegur 1.
International Office
International Office provides information and assistance for prospective international students, current international students, RU students, staff, institutions and organisations associated with international programmes at RU and abroad.
Student Services
Student Services specialises in helping students improve their study methods and efficiency. Its aim is also to help students build increased awareness of their abilities, opinions, and interests so they can be used effectively in academia and the workplace.
Academic Teaching & Registry
Academic Teaching & Registry oversees all information pertaining to students, for example, their course history, course registrations and withdrawals, and grade registration. Enrollment and graduation of students is also supervised by Academic Teaching & Registry in addition to all matters regarding examinations.
Carrier Services
Career Services has the aim of helping students find exciting and demanding jobs and of helping companies find the right employee for their needs from the group of RU's students.
Computer Facilities
In addition to a number of computer labs and computer access at the library, wireless Internet connections are available in all buildings. Through RU’s intranet, students have access to all information on the courses in which they are enrolled, including all lecture overheads, projects and discussion topics.
