Some jobs within RU are deemed by the school as being more appropriate for volunteer work than for paid work.  In most instances, students are directly contacted to gauge their interest in these jobs, but interested students can also register on the Web site of RU's Career Services.

Examples of tasks which students generally tend to as volunteers:

• Introductions in secondary schools.
• The Big University Day in the spring.
• The Freshman Day in August.
• Help in welcoming exchange students at RU.
