Research Institutes
The RU School of Law endeavours to promote research into a range of legal areas. In order to make this possible, the school must be in a position to provide its teaching staff as well as its students with first-rate research facilities, for instance through the research institutes operating under the auspices of the School of Law.
Institutes and Centres
Within Reykjavik University School of Law there are four research institutes and one information centre.

The European Documentation Centre was formally opened during the summer of 2003 and since 2006 it has been operating under the umbrella of EU in the World - EUi
Students at Master level have the opportunity to work at these institutes on research in connection with their theses. Similarly, the institutes are open to undergraduate students working on specific research projects.
