Academic Affairs Council

The role of the Academic Affairs Council is to promote the development and structuring of studies within the Reykjavik University School of Law.

The Academic Affairs Council is composed of three faculty members appointed by a faculty meeting for a term of one year at a time. One of the three assumes the responsibilities of chairperson.

The principal function of the Academic Affairs Council is:

  • To work on the structuring and development of undergraduate and graduate studies at the School of Law.
  • To work on the structuring and development of new field and/or courses of study at the School of Law
  •  To review regularly the School's progress and examination rules
  • To develop a system for assessing the quality of instruction
