Please browse the online catalogue at the bottom of the page to find the courses offered in English in each semester.

Courses taught in English

If you are only looking to take some courses, please browse the catalogue and look for the following information before selecting the courses: 

 An English flag next to the name of the course means it is taught in English.
 Half Icelandic and English flags means non-Icelandic speaking students will receive course material and tutorial sessions in English (It applies if other exchange students select the same course).
 An Icelandic flag means the course is only offered in Icelandic.

Wherever you see the labels:   

• "1. semester" (and with any odd number) are courses taught in the Fall semester
• "2. semester" (and with any even number) are courses taught in the Spring semester
• Haustönn: fall semester
• Vorönn: spring semester
• Sumarönn: summer
  

International students can attend an Icelandic language course at RU during their studies. They are offered during fall and spring semesters. You can download the course description here.

Graduate Courses

Graduate courses are only available for graduate students. You can select courses at gradute level if you have completed three years of study prior to your arrival to RU (a minimum of 180 ECTS). In any case, undergraduate or graduate levels, the selection of courses is subject to the Faculty Administrator and Program Manager's final approval.

Courses at the MBA program are not available for exchange students.
