Study Facilities
Reykjavik University is located at Menntavegur 1, in Nauthólsvík and is equipped with modern, first-rate facilities. Students have round-the-clock access to the facilities every day of the year by use of an electronic access card. The University's own restaurant at Nauthólsvík offers hot meals at lunchtime at reasonable prices as well as an array of sandwiches, salads, dairy products, beverages etc.
Student Counselling Service
Student counselling specialises in helping students improve their study methods and efficiency. Its aim is also to help students build increased awareness of their abilities, opinions, and interests so they can be used effectively in academia and the workplace.
Facilities for Students with Special Needs
RU's facilities are designed with special needs in mind. The classrooms are easily accessible and every floor has an elevator.

Library Facilities
RU has developed one of Iceland's largest and most advanced electronic libraries with excellent access to databases and e-journals in all of RU´s fields of study. The library is on the Web at www.ru.is/library, and at the University in Nauthólsvík.
Computer Facilities
Student computer facilities are exemplary. In addition to a number of computer labs and computer access at the library, wireless Internet connections are available in all buildings. Through RU's intranet, students have access to all information on the courses in which they are enrolled, including all lecture overheads, projects and discussion topics.
Student Association
RU's very active student association has the aim of encouraging and maintaining feelings of fellowship, ambition and the desire for knowledge. Various clubs and groups that are operated within the association host all kinds of activities throughout the year, such as company visits, sport events, interesting business, law or science lectures, parties, camping, etc.
